once upon a time…
life has its funny ways of setting you back when you start getting lifted. i’ve been very spiritual for several months now. not religious. not a hippie. an optimist. i recognize what’s important and what’s not… what’s a necessity and

Things have been busy. A lot of moving parts now. Staying focused on what’s important. The Lumineers – Ho Hey
queensborough / 59th st bridge
unfortunately the feelings have not subsided. i am planning my escape.
yoga
this weekend i was in los angeles. i did a lot of yoga. no more bikram. i opened my eyes to vinyasa and ashtanga. los angeles also made me realize a number of things. i need a change. in scenery.
all you need is
it isn’t me and i dont know who it is. this is my first canon 5d picture post! i love the colors.

bikes leaning against on the church of la clerecia on another note i’m starting to plan my second trip which may be south east asia. hong kong -> vietnam -> cambodia -> thailand. 2 weeks. fly home from phuket.
i was already in love with you by then
i printed and mounted this photo too. take in soho, nyc.
sunset in barcelona, spain

today…
something i whisper to myself every morning. no matter how bad the previous day/week/month/year was, today is a brand new day. the stuff below is the crap i have on my desk. on another exciting note, i am backpacking spain
a couple
it’s been getting cold in new york.
barrel
some months ago i took some photos for barrel ny. lighting was okay, but there was a reflective plastic on the subjects making it difficult to get some good shots.
post-irene
the streets of new york were unlike anything i’ve ever seen after hurricane irene. they were completely deserted. i went to central park and you could hear a pin drop. i went for a 6 mile run down park avenue
brooklyn, ny
brooklyn, winter ’11 in the past year i’ve met tons of people. i can’t help but wonder how a relationship with someone could have been if you don’t dive deeper. you live only once. walk slower, interrupt less, let anger
love
easily one of my most cherished pictures ever. one of the thing i’ve found myself obsessed with over the past several years is finding signs of love in manhattan, be it graffiti or affection. most people will never see it.
summer
someone recently asked me to name a time i was happy in my life and can honestly say that now is one of those times. a few bumps here and there but every aspect is going the way i want
fate
i couldn’t stitch all of the photos together as i don’t have photoshop on this computer. i’ve realized that everything works itself out in life. everything that is supposed to be, will be. (upper east side, ny)
look carefully
lots of things going on, therefore this website has suffered.
signs
i have to start photographing people more.
tea
i’ve been drinking an ungodly amount of tea in the past month or two. each tea bag has an inspirational one liner. i got a new lens. 70-200 f2.8.
ominous tone
photographed somewhere in the chelsea area of manhattan
graffiti
an old picture which some of you may have seen already. i think the larger version of this photo does it justice.
up above
the recent pictures of ‘faith’ is not a true reflection of myself. i don’t consider myself a very religious person… in fact, i’m the complete opposite. this was taken in aruba, at the only chapel on the island i believe.
fall color
upstate new york, harriman
SoHo
i love natural lighting. i love the way it hits this wall, motorcycle, and door.
chinatown
an old chinese man reading a newspaper on a saturday afternoon.

happy new year
My girlfriend and I spent a quiet night indoors for New Years Eve. The next morning I decided to get up early to see the after math throughout the city, walking through Times Sq. and back (a good several miles).
